Staff were warm and friendly nothing was too much trouble, good selection of beverage items on arrival. set in stunning scenery, a great base to explore from breakfast and evening meals were spot on , huge portions and excellent quality

Cottage was comfortable but basic , Bathroom was in real need of an upgrade , but was adequate for our needs. Lounge area could really do with a sofa, or chairs you are able to relax in on an evening, the current furniture was not really fit for purpose

Good location, but other than that it’s not a place I would want to stay again.

Room extremely cold in the morning and evenings. When we asked they put the heating on the first night we arrived. On the remaining evenings we did ask twice to no avail. Food received is not what you order eg- ordered one well cooked sausage with a small portion of scrambled egg (made with one egg) what we received was two very undercooked sausages and a large portion of very watery scrambled egg each.
