    Well equipped Madrid base

    Great apartment in the shopping mall and close by public transport. There was a lift to the fourth floor, so only two stairs on the way in. Easy communication with host and we were allowed to check in early, which was really helpful since we had our bags with us, as well as leaving our bags until our flight in the afternoon after we checked out. Really spacious with full range of kitchen equipment, full size fridge and freezer. You can definitely buy groceries and cook at home.

    Not the host’s fault, but the washing machine was broken (by previous guest) so we had to go to the laundromat. They did tell us before we arrived with the option to book else where but there wasn’t any where else suitable with the short notice. Pillows were very flat so not comfortable for us.

    Cómo y bien ubicado

    El piso y la ubicación nos encantaron: muy limpio, bien cuidado y en una zona estupenda, ideal para moverse por la ciudad. Además, la comunicación con el anfitrión fue rápida y amable, lo que facilitó mucho la estancia.

    Durante la estancia se compartió mi número de teléfono con un técnico para revisar la lavadora, y creo que esa gestión se debe realizar cuando no haya huéspedes. Además, las almohadas podrían ser más cómodas para un mejor descanso.

    Experiencia desagradable, a evitar.

    Tuvimos una experiencia muy desagradable en este alojamiento. La puerta de la lavadora se bloqueó con nuestra ropa dentro, empapada en agua, durante casi tres días. En lugar de ofrecernos una solución inmediata, el propietario nos pidió que nosotros mismos llamáramos a un técnico, lo cual no es nuestra responsabilidad como huéspedes. Finalmente después de dos días, gracias a la intervención de Booking(muy buena por cierto) el propietario envió a una persona (que vive en el mismo alojamiento), pero no hizo nada más que grabar un video para confirmar lo que ya habíamos informado. Durante todo este proceso, fuimos tratados con una actitud grosera y poco empática. Como resultado, perdimos parte de nuestras vacaciones, actividades ya pagadas, tiempo valioso, y además nuestra ropa se dañó. Lo más grave fue el estrés y la falta de tranquilidad durante toda la estancia. Nosotros mismos tuvimos que resolver el problema buscando un técnico en una ciudad que no conocíamos para que arreglara el problema. Este apartamento puede tener buenas valoraciones, pero nuestra experiencia fue muy diferente. No lo recomendaría a nadie que espere atención, responsabilidad y respeto por parte del anfitrión en caso de que surja algún problema.
