Wonderful location and host
We had a great stay at Green Bird Villas. The flat was spacious, with a lot of light and great views over the hills and distant mountains from the balcony and living area. Sathis was a wonderful host, helping us coordinate with our driver and reserving tickets for a cultural dance (he would also be able to help with booking tours etc, but we didn't need this). The kitchen is well equipped for simple cooking. The living space can get hot in the day, but cools in the evening and morning, the balcony usually has a breeze, and the Aircon in the bedroom is effective. The location feels high in the hills, but is only a 10 min drive/20 min (steep!) walk to the lake or centre of Kandy. Seeing the sun come up from the balcony was a great start to the day.

Lovely view. Very sweet host.
The host was very welcoming. A big apartment with a kitchen and balcony. Clean.
One bathroom was not inside the apartment but we just used the ensuite anyway. So no problem.

Tout était absolument parfait ! Nous avons passé 3 nuits fantastiques dans cette magnifique villa. Tout était irréprochable : la propreté est exemplaire, les chambres sont très spacieuse, il y a deux salle de bain, une belle cuisine aménagée, une grande terrasse (vue montagne) et l'emplacement est idéal. (Proche du centre ville) C'est un véritable havre de paix, sans aucun bruit, avec une vue splendide sur les montagnes où l'on se sent immédiatement bien. De plus, le propriétaire, Sathis, est d'une gentillesse incroyable et d'une attention remarquable. Il nous a même offert un délicieux avocat de son jardin un matin ! Nous recommandons cette villa les yeux fermés. Un grand merci à Sathis pour son accueil si chaleureux.
Tout était parfait. Aller au centre ville à pied se fait facilement et un super point de vue sur le chemin. Prévoir le retour en tuk tuk
