  Lovely host and place to crash for a night or two if you’re going to be out most of the time and just need somewhere sim

  John is a lovely and welcoming host. The little studio has what you need for a short trip if you don’t plan on cooking or being there much (there isn’t really room to chill out and relax unless you’re in bed).

  Property is on a flood plain, and studio room is under the main dwelling so doesn’t receive any sun etc. Felt a bit damp and potentially flooded previously as I’m sensitive to mould and myself and partner had skin reactions. Also, you can hear walking and talking from above so you’re conscious you’re in someone’s space and doesn’t feel overly private.

  Exceeded expectations, extremely clean & functional

  Absolutely everything. The hosts were very hospitable. And knowing that I had a longer stay (2 weeks) than their usual guests (a couple of days), they made sure to keep in touch with me via text to check if I would like the room cleaned, or if I needed a linen change or fresh towels e.t.c. The room itself was lovely. Modern, extremely clean, and functional. A couple may only wish to stay in this smaller space a few days, but as a solo traveller it was perfect. After making my booking, the hosts called me to check that I was aware the kitchenette was rather small. But it is very functional. Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, portable cook top, you name it. I especially loved the smartTV.

  I loved everything! No negative comments about this place.
