    Overnight stay

    The staff are always so friendly and helpful and the food well cooked and plentiful. Easy access with large car park on site

    The bathroom was on the small side and would have preferred just a shower rather than a bath to give more space

    Would recommend as a great location to explore a nice part of northern England

    There was a good choice of breakfast and delicious evening meals. Great staff and very dog friendly. Great location, close to lovely towns, villages, the coast and the lake district.

    Lovely relaxing place to stay with easy access to borders/lakes.

    Location to borders. Lovely old building. Clean and comfortable. Dog friendly excellent customer service. Good breakfast cooked to choice served by friendly staff. Quiet location. Chose as a stop over after visiting Scotland. Would definitely recommend and return.

    Lovely location, staff very helpful.Good breakfast

    The room was very dated and not very clean. The mattress was awful
