    Amazing Location!!!

    Ricardo and Ella did really an excellent job hosting us 4 days. The have a lovely Guest House well and silent located offering a wonderful overview over the lagoon! The daily breakfast is one of the best we ever got all over South Africa including freshly baked bread, hand mixed cereals, a large Variation of cheese and Ella’s special hand made surprise per day. Ricardo‘s recommendation for daily trips were really helpful for us to get a good overview about the different oppertunities of Knysna. Great thanks for their excellent hospitality and their whole team. It is a must for us to return here on our next holiday in South Africa.

    Our favorite accommodation during our three week stay in South Africa, great rooms, great views, wonderful hosts! Highly

    The Lazy Lion was easily the nicest guest house we have stayed in during our entire three weeks in South Africa. The rooms were large, spotlessly, clean, with large balconies and fantastic views. The breakfasts were delicious with very healthy food and plenty of it! The staff was fantastic. But most of all, the place felt like home. The hosts and owners, Ricardo and Ella, were kind, gracious, welcoming, and full of ideas for walks and activities in the area. We give this guesthouse our highest rating.

    Fabulous stay. Just wish we could have stayed for longer.

    This property is fabulous. All the rooms are large and have great views, the beds are super comfortable. The hosts Ella and Ricardo are so helpful and accommodating. Ella puts together a beautiful breakfast which you get to enjoy with a beautiful view. A lovely property to spend a few days. We really enjoyed our time here.
