a spacious and central find given the scarcity
finding accommodation in Taormina is not easy, we finally settled on this one because of the central location. It is really central, spacious, with two bathrooms and large bedrooms and a huge terrace.
the online check in was super detailed and stressful.. I had to fill passport details for 4 people! the check in instructions provided were helpful but misleading. We were told that we could drop off the luggage and then go park the car. However, the location provided for drop off was not practical and getting from there to the parking lot was super difficult (we could not turn one corner if it was not for the helpful waiter from a nearby restaurant and his instructions). There were more convenient drop off locations which we figured later on but could not possibly know before arrival. The furniture is amazing for those who love antiques but I don't think they check and maintain them after every guest. there were a few repairs that were needed and since you pay a deposit, you feel like explaining that these pieces had fallen before you. The furniture is quite heavy and couches/armchairs not suitable for summer/hot weather stays. The large bedroom is super loud as it is on the car road, the guests who slept there could not sleep properly. the house was not aired and was hot and stuffy when we entered.

Big appartment with noise from the street
Location is great, but that is probably of most of acommodations in Taormina as it is very small. The appartment is really big and interesting with its old furniture. View from the balcony is amazing, but be aware that it ios not directly witrhjin the appartmewnt but above.
The noise from the street... It is like you sleep on the street. It is quite busy in the night with all the cars and scooters leaving Taormina. Bring earplugs.

La ubicación es muy buena. Desde la terraza tenés muy lindas vistas de Taormina. Estuvimos muy cómodos durante nuestra estadía. Lo recomiendo mucho!

Fabulous and not only recommend, but would choose that apartment again!
Loved the spaciousness of the apartment, and that it felt like a home. We used and enjoyed the rooftop deck and even hosted a little gathering with two other couples there on our last evening. The view of Mt. Etna from the balcony was spectacular - and it was on the "blood moon" equinox night - super special and memorable!
Though the bedrooms had air conditioning, the rest of the apartment could have used at least a window air conditioner, as it was very warm and thus, we didn't relax in the living room or dining room. But overall 10 stars! Suggestion: some local maps of the area and beach/es.
