    Great location

The location is fantastic on the edge of the old town. On arrival the air conditioner was not working for our first night and no internet but Maria was super helpful in getting it fixed the very next day. Grazie Maria

The stairs and the tiniest shower in Italy. By removing the bidet you could have a larger shower

    great location

    - Location - The rooftop has lovely views of the city and water - Owner was lovely

    - Air conditioner doesn’t work, slept in a very hot room the entire stay. When we asked the owner she told us to turn it on and off again. The air conditioner needs to be serviced / fixed (we know this as we have our own air conditioners at our house at home) - No salt, pepper, oil, tongs and other useful utensils for cooking - Shower is very small, a tall person (6 foot plus) will struggle to fit inside it. - Finding the key and then the house is confusing, the street that was provided on booking.com is one street away from the actual house. A map marked with the location of the actual house would be very useful.

THE WORST PLACE I´VE EVER STAYED - AVOID!!!

    Nothing

I´ve never written a bad review before and have stayed all over the world but this place was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. We left after 36 hours even though we had paid for 4 nights and had been so excited about it. Where to begin with the problems?! Firstly, for the check-in, we had to go and pick up the key from a lawyer´s office who didn´t speak any English. When we first entered the smell of humidity hit us – it clearly hadn´t been aired for quite some time. The place was INFESTED with fleas, bed bugs and mosquitoes, and we were eaten alive with the worst bites I´ve ever had anywhere in the world!! There were no sheets in the main bedroom so we had to sleep on the bare mattress the 1st night. Maria told me that she´d bring sheets but she never did. When we found the sheets they smelt of urine and it was disgusting!! The bathrooms were so small that you couldn´t stand up without hitting your head and the shower was too small to turn around in or bend down (we are both slim, young and average height). The toilet seat and lid were broken and kept falling off in the main bathroom. Negotiating the 2 narrow steep staircases is dangerous when you go from the main bedroom to the bathroom. Also, it was so dark because of the tiny high square windows in the apartment that you had no idea what the weather was like outside. The terrace was private but right next door and opposite to the neighbours so no privacy. The decoration was nice but hardly useful?! When we told Maria we were leaving she just said OK. We´ve never received any kind of communication since let alone an apology. The only communication we have received was this morning when they asked me to pay €50 for a broken mosquito blind (it was already broken when we arrived and if they´d bothered to check us in they´d have seen that for themselves). Avoid like the plague or you´ll catch it here!!
