  De host was erg aardig en met ons begaan. Via translate konden we met hem communiceren. In de koelkast stond zelfgemaakte wijn en er stond koffie en thee om te pakken.

  Delightful host and a lovely place

  We really enjoyed our stay at Guest House Gegi: a super kind host, beautiful garden / quiet surroundings, comfy beds and a spacious, clean room… We wouldn’t change a thing!

  A peaceful, authentic little home in Kutaisi, close to the center, but far from the noise.

  I was looking for a place close to the city center, but still somewhere peaceful and quiet. It was important to me to wake up to birds singing rather than hearing cars and street noise through the windows. I was very lucky to find Guesthouse Gegi, because it was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a small guesthouse with only 3–4 rooms, which makes it feel especially cozy, calm, and private. The house itself is an authentic Kutaisi house with a lovely garden, and you quickly start to feel as if you’re staying in your own home rather than at a hotel. The host is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Overall, for the price, the guesthouse offers very good conditions. I was genuinely happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it.

  Best stay in Kutaisi

  Jubi was a great host! We had a wonderful time. He picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with homemade wine. The guesthouse is up a hill, a short walk from the center but Jubi even offered to pick us up from down the hill any time we came back from the city so we didn't have to walk up. He also brought us to our next accommodation in Kinchkha for a very fair price. I cannot recommend this guesthouse more, their hospitality is just impeccable!
