Dépaysement
Auberge typique dans les montagnes. Accueil très chaleureux par le propriétaire. Chambre simple mais confortable et très propre. Il faut prévoir de manger sur place car l'auberge se situe dans un petit village. Le propriétaire nous a servi au restaurant le soir alors que nous étions les seuls dans le restaurant.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και προσεγμένο και το κατάλυμα εξίσου όμορφο. Βρίσκεται ελάχιστα έξω από το ήσυχο χωριό της Καστανιάς (υψόμετρο 1000μ.), στις νότιες υπώρειες του όρους Ζήρεια ή Κυλλήνη και απέναντι από το επιβλητικό όρος Ολίγυρτος, όπου κοιτάει το χωριό και το κατάλυμα. Ιδανική τοποθεσία για όποιον θέλει να ξεφύγει από τη βουή και τους γρήγορους ρυθμούς της πόλης και να απολαύσει λίγη ηρεμία, χαλάρωση και το καλοκαίρι περισσότερη δροσιά. Ο οικοδεσπότης, ο κύριος Βασίλης, είναι πολύ φιλικός, εξυπηρετικός και πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει σε ό,τι χρειαστεί. Διατηρεί ακριβώς δίπλα και την ταβέρνα του, όπου είχα την ευκαιρία να δοκιμάσω το φαγητό, το οποίο ήταν πολύ νόστιμο. Ακριβώς αυτό που αναζητά κανείς όταν επισκέπτεται ένα χωριό, νόστιμο και αυθεντικό. Παράλληλα, μπορεί να αποτελέσει βάση, για να γνωρίσει κανείς τις γύρω περιοχές και να εξερευνήσει τις ομορφιές τους καθώς βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στις λεκάνες της Στυμφαλίας και του Φενεου και πολύ κοντά στο μουσείο Περιβάλλοντος Στυμφαλίας και την ομώνυμη λίμνη, τη λίμνη Δόξα και τα όμορφα χωριά της κοιλάδας του Φενεού. Ειδικά η πλατεία του χωριού της Αγίας Φενεού είναι πολύ γραφική και ιδανική για έναν καφέ κάτω από τον υπεραιωνόβιο πλάτανο, πάνω στον οποίο έχουν κατασκευάσει το καμπαναριο/δενδρόσπιτο της εκκλησίας του Αγίου Γεωργίου Φενεού. Μια πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία και ένα μέρος που θα επέλεγα ξανά με χαρά!

We definitely loved the care and living they made of it!! They were super nice, and it was super comfortable, and super calm and tranquil!! They definitely tailored it to our needs in every way; it was also super clean, which we highly appreciate!! Definitely recommend and also great area to explore more around!!! Dare i say you contact them through their own website and book with them directly? Also great spot for working online!!! best office in nature!! They also have many fruit trees!! <3 and super nice dogs that are also great host and welcoming!!!
