Amazing old house in the castle of Berat. The host and hostess were very polite. The room was clean and comfortable.
It was hard to understand each other with the hosts as they used Google translate. No coffee.

非常非常舒适的房子，而且非常干净一尘不染。床相当舒服，晚上睡觉很安静，洗手间很宽敞，客厅也很漂亮。 我们在这里住了两晚，嫌时间太短。希望下次有时间可以多住几天。 tomi和kate人特别好很和蔼可亲，和tomi和kate聊天很开心，虽然语言不通但也不妨碍我们在一起相处的很愉快。

Exceptional
The location in the castle was convenient (especially to catch the museums before the crowds arrive), and provides incredible views. The accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable and with reliable WiFi and excellent air-conditioning. Although the room stayed quite cool anyway due to the unique architecture. The hosts were wonderful - communicative over WhatsApp and easy to chat with via phone translation despite language barrier. We were provided a lovely breakfast by Kate in Tommy's shop when we departed, which was a lovely end to the trip.
If you aren't a confident driver, it can be a little daunting to drive up and through the castle, especially if arriving when the streets are busy with tourists. However Tommy was helpful in this regard.
