This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.     Misleading description of the apartment

    The view, near the centre

    We chose this property after months of carefully planning our family holiday. One of the main reasons we booked it was what appeared in the photos to be a private terrace with a beautiful sea view and a tree providing shade. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The listing never made it clear that the outdoor area is shared between two apartments. This was a major disappointment, as privacy was one of our main priorities. Had this been clearly stated, we simply would not have booked this accommodation. Another important issue was the shade. I have a medical sensitivity to direct sunlight and specifically chose this property because the photos suggested that the tree would provide natural shade. In reality, the tree shades only the neighbouring apartment. Our side has no shade at all and not even a sun umbrella. We informed GuestReady immediately after our arrival and explained the situation, including my medical sensitivity. During the next three days we received polite but generic replies saying they were "investigating" the listing. No explanation was provided, none of our questions were answered, and no practical solution was offered. Even something as simple as providing a sun umbrella would have shown genuine care for their guests, but nothing was done.We also asked whether they could offer any practical solution or an appropriate partial refund, considering that the property did not match the expectations created by the listing. What disappointed us most was not only the misleading presentation of the property, but also the way our complaint was handled. Instead of receiving a clear explanation or a solution, we were left waiting for three days while being told that the matter was under investigation. Unfortunately, our stay ended without the issue being resolved.
