    Super hosts and super experience

    The house and location were great for wildlife. Lots of reading material, games and wildlife guides in the house. The host Jason was exceptional in sharing his knowledge and giving advice on where to explore. A super experience for our extended family that we will treasure.

    A peaceful nature retreat with Jason's unforgettable hospitality

    We had an amazing stay at Gulkula 2 Retreat — a stunning wooden house surrounded by nature, yet equipped with all the comforts you need. What truly made the experience special was Jason’s incredible hospitality. He shared his vast knowledge of local wildlife, showed us how to make a fire, pointed out the best nearby spots to visit, and even treated us to some delicious Tasmanian cheese. We saw the Milky Way, alpacas, wallabies, and pademelons — all from right outside the house. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature in a warm, welcoming setting.
