Perfect location with wonderful views. House was clean, beautiful and huge. Tracey very helpful and checked we were OK. Full of history.

    Great stay!

It was a privilege to stay in a house built in 1752, with all its quirks and creaks! Lots of rooms with interesting artwork, nice views, good facilities, and the house is an excellent base for exploring the local area.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful, historic house that we’d happily return to.

Beautiful historic house with so much character. Having the whole property to ourselves was fantastic, and we loved exploring its history and hidden features. Great location, surprisingly quiet despite being close to the harbour, and the main bathroom is beautifully modern while retaining the house’s elegance. We had a brilliant stay.

The first-floor bed is extremely high, which was difficult for a member of our group with mobility issues. The first floor shower is also not accessible for those with mobility issues (that is on the second floor). A hoover available for guests to use would also have been useful.

Stunning house with character and comfort.

Stunning property with enormous character. Two magnificent rooms - dining and sitting rooms - overlooking the harbour and town. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms.

The kitchen is small. We were a foodie group and wanted to cook the excellent fish available in Eyemouth. The selection of pans was poor , although Tracy has promised to rectify this. We would love to come again but would probably bring more of our own kit.
