    the stay was disappointing and their reimbursement decisions are not good business practice.

    The staff was very nice, just unable to assist us with our early departure.

    We checked in late in the evening and then went to dinner. Upon return we unpacked and settled in. We found a bug in our curtains. So did the room next to use where our friends checked in. We slept in our clothes that evening, not knowing if there were any more bugs. We left the next day. Although our initial reservation was for three nights, we offered to pay for our one night plus an early departure fee to Gunstock (we were two of only a few people staying on property at the time). Gunstock refused to allow us to pay for one night plus and early departure fee, and instead mandated that we pay for all three nights of our reservation. I would never stay there again.

    Pleasant and quiet retreat

    This is a great location with wonderful views, fire pits and comfortable common areas. There’s no restaurant or food nearby so you have to take that into consideration. Staff were very attentive. Get a room facing the lake , not the parking lot !
