Beautiful property but instructions were unclear and lacked care
Beautiful property situated in the most iconic German wineries and vineyards
If you check in late and are booking for a large group, they don’t take the time to properly explain instructions and no one to call in case of emergencies. I booked 6 rooms for 8 people. When I went to the property, they did not leave instructions as to which room was whose. I spent 20 minutes sorting it out, visiting each room sprawled in 3 different buildings to figure it out. For example, if you book “double room” on booking.com, the name of the room is a soil type or vineyard name. I think this is charming but they should have wrote “double room” somewhere. They had a sheet with room names but didn’t put each person’s name or room type next to it and we didn’t book identical rooms. I felt it was a lack of care for their guests. We almost ran late to dinner because of this. I called them but they do not pick up after hours. If you are arriving late, get clear instructions much in advance, call them, do not message them because they do not respond to messages after hours either.

douche froide à l'accueil
la situation dans les vignobles, le décor, l'amabilité du personnel- à part du monsieur qui nous a accueilli de très mauvaise humeur.
l'accueil était la douche froide!! j'avais insisté déjà par écrit sur la situation de handicap à la marche de mon frère âgé. le monsieur qui nous a accueilli nous a envoyé d'abord dans le bâtiment en face avec de multiples escaliers. Il s'est avéré que nos chambres se situaient dans l'autre bâtiment. Heureusement le gentil jardinier hongrois nous a aidé à trouver nos chambres .... Des personnes avec des humeurs pareilles devraient changer de métier! de là aussi mon appréciation modérée de ce très bel établissement
