Very fortunate to have spent three extremely enjoyable nights here.
Very fortunate to have spent three extremely enjoyable nights in this excellently restored and extended property provided by a very friendly hostess and host! The island location, encircled by water, is very relaxing.; Ideal should you just want to relax and recover from work or family troubles, but also convenient for exploring by foot or cycle, and provides easy car access to the sights and attractions of the area: Molbergen, Thülsfelder, Cloppenburg, and the smaller villages. I had the modern furnished, smaller apartment, but it was very spacious and clean, with a large double bed, table and chairs, cupboards, well equipped kitchenette, and a separate shower room. Being in the countryside there were no nearby restaurants and food shops, but Molbergen is only 5-minutes away by car. Would gladly stay here again in the future. NB. If intending to explore the local footpath and trails, such as Komoot routes, do note that some paths are overgrown and smaller bridges on the Soeste are in poor condition, or blocked - the hostess mentioned local council (Gemeinde) funding shortfalls – which, sadly, we’re all too familiar with these days.

Rust en ruimte, perfect!
Mooi en schoon appartement en prachtige tuin/ serene natuur met vijvers waar we omheen konden wandelen. In ėėn woord fantastisch!
