  Hiniestrosa #4 I have quoted this stay as bad (overall score of 3 on 10) although the apt is nice, located conveniently close to Plaza de la Merced and in a very quiet little street. So nothing wrong at all so far. BUT the key access is just DISASTROUS !!! First, when you get to the second floor, contrary to the first where there are 2 apts clearly marked A and B, on the 2nd floor there is no A or B indication whatsoever. So you are left guessing which of the 2 apts is yours. On one of them there is a big mention “Friberg” that makes you think it belongs to a Mister Friberg and is therefore not the one you are looking for. But after trying out the keys unsuccessfully on the other apt, you realize yours must be the Friberg one after all and then see a small, hardly visible tag marked “H2M” on the upper right side of the door confirming this. But then you are being given a set of 5 keys (yes 5 !) for just 2 doors, the main door of the building on the street and the door of the apt which has 2 locks, one on top and one in the middle, meaning that you actually need 3 keys. As the 5 keys are not marked in any sort of identifiable way like with a color or identification that would tell you which key to use for which door and which lock, it is just a matter of guess work, patience, luck… All in all it took me 10 to 15 minutes to finally get in. Which is just disastrous. Never in my whole life have I been confronted with such a mess. Very unpleasant indeed

  Keine gute Beschilderung, das Apartment war nicht einfach zu finden. Die Treppen im Stiegenhaus waren ein Kampf.

  Enjoyed our stay, pity about the extra charges

  Fantastic location, tucked away on quiet street, but really close to the centre. Simply furnished - absolutely fine for a short break. Very comfortable beds. Clear instructions.

  There was a €50 charge for late check- in, which only involved collecting a key from a key box. It was in the small print but not made clear when I asked if late check-in was ok, which would have been appreciated. We wanted to use both bed and sofa bed - we had to ask for the linen for the sofa bed - maybe we should have checked earlier - but we were charged an extra €5. It’s advertised as having 2 beds - feels very unreasonable to make us pay extra for using both!
