  This place is simply breathtaking! Its beautiful Victorian style creates a truly magical atmosphere, making you feel as though you have stepped into a fairy tale. Our stay was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The rooms are beautifully restored, full of elegance, charm and character, while the enchanting garden feels like something straight out of a storybook. Every corner of this property is absolutely stunning. However, what made our stay truly exceptional was the wonderful hospitality, especially from Brenda, who made our experience so special that we will never forget it. Brenda is, without a doubt, the best host I have ever encountered in all my travels. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly kind, attentive, helpful and professional. She radiates such genuine warmth, positive energy and happiness, always welcoming us with a beautiful smile. We were celebrating the anniversary of the day my fiancée and I first met, and Brenda went above and beyond to make this occasion unforgettable. She beautifully decorated our room with rose petals and surprised us with a bottle of wine and delicious treats. It was such a thoughtful and romantic gesture that touched our hearts. Her kindness and attention to detail made us feel truly special. People like Brenda are rare, and she is the kind of person who turns a beautiful hotel into an unforgettable experience. Brenda, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us! You made our stay magical, and we will always remember your kindness, generosity and wonderful smile. We fell completely in love with this place and cannot wait to return. It was truly one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of our lives!

  Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect in every possible way. We genuinely cannot think of a single negative aspect of our stay. The property, the atmosphere, the rooms, the gardens and, above all, the exceptional hospitality exceeded all our expectations. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

  The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming.

  The bedroom was spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. These were definite highlights of our stay.

  I appreciate that this is a Victorian Bed and Breakfast and that its charm lies in its character. However, I felt that the entrance foyer and landing looked a little tired and would benefit from some updating, particularly the carpeting. The bathroom was lovely, with many thoughtful little extras that made it feel special. However, I noticed that several of the floor tiles were cracked, as was the surface of the cabinet around the basin. These areas would benefit from some attention. Overall, I felt that the B&B would benefit from a little modernising and some general refurbishment, while still retaining its lovely Victorian charm.
