    After two incredible weeks exploring coastal Karnataka on our South India road trip, my husband and I arrived in Bekal to begin the Kerala leg of our journey. We couldn't have chosen a better place to start than Halifax Inn. From the moment we checked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The property is clean, comfortable, and peaceful—exactly what we needed after days on the road. The rooms were well maintained, the staff were warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and recharge. One of the biggest highlights is the location. It's conveniently close to Bekal's main attractions while still offering a quiet retreat away from the crowds. Whether you're visiting for a short getaway or using Bekal as a base to explore North Kerala, Halifax Inn is an excellent choice. Our stay was comfortable from start to finish, and it made for the perfect introduction to Kerala. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend Halifax Inn to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-located place to stay in Bekal.
