  Like the location and the breakfast. Staff was friendly and easy to walk around york.

  We have parked the vehicle in a carpark and had a 8 minute wLk to the hotel. It was a bit frustrating.

  Excellent location for city centre , let down by breakfast

  Excellent location , good room , very average buffet breakfast , felt choices were chided for economy rather than quality , tinned fruit , watery fruit juice and coooked items tasted like they had been out for some time , had to ask for items to be roped up Ended up with toast . Shame as it would have been excellent rather than good had the breakfast been better

  Clean, comfortable and brilliantly located for York Barbican and the city centre.

  A really enjoyable stay at the Hampton by Hilton York Piccadilly. The hotel was clean, comfortable and ideally located for exploring York. We were visiting for an event at York Barbican, which was within easy walking distance. The city centre was also just a short stroll away, making it a great base for sightseeing, shopping and eating out. There are several parking options nearby, which is helpful when arriving by car. The combination of comfort, convenience and such a central location made this an excellent choice for our stay. We’d happily return and would certainly recommend it.

  The only disappointment was the air conditioning. Unfortunately, it operates on a centrally controlled system, which meant we couldn’t lower the room temperature to our preferred level. We would have appreciated more control over the temperature, particularly for a comfortable night’s sleep. This was the main reason for our slightly lower rating, as otherwise we were very happy with our stay.
