Good place to stay if you are going on a cruise
The location was very good, close to the airport as well as to the cruise port. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle, which is a good feature. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom with fair size countertop and plenty of good quality towels and washcloths. The bed was comfortable and especially the pillows were very good and comfy. You could get coffee or hot tea in the lobby. You could also make it in the room. The room also had a microwave and a refrigerator. There was a small store next to the reception desk where you could buy frozen and perishable food items and various snacks.The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful especially Vance at the front desk, very kind and willing to assist, very cheerful personality, which deserves a raise 😊. The breakfast was alright. I was happy to find peach 🍑 yogurt, my favorite flavor, among the veriaty provided, which typically is blueberry 🫐, strawberry 🍓 and banana🍌.
The airport shuttle driver had a bit of an attitude and not very helpful with the luggage 🙄, which in a long run affects his tip so he should take this under consideration. The shuttle van should be marked better because there was some confusion which van goes to which Hampton Inn since there are 2 Hampton Inns in the area. The bath towels could be bigger size and this suggestion comes from a small person like myself. The hotel provides a shuttle to the cruise port, which is a good feature but the fee of $15 per person is a bit too high in my opinion since you can get a taxi for $10.
