    The breakfast was great! We usually stay at Hamptons and the Kansa City location absolutely met our expectations. The lady that was running the kitchen was very kind and helpful.

    Location and decor were great. Room chairs and one associate were sub par.

    I liked the modern decor of the room and common areas.

    There was only one chair, a bad one, in the room. There were two of us staying in the room. Guests of a certain age don't want to sit on the bed when relaxing. The one chair that was available wasn't cushy and the wheels were so loose that when I went to stand up the chair flew out from under me and I almost fell to the floor. That would not be good. Asked for an additional or better chair and was told no. See next comment. The second shift desk clerk was not good. Not personable to the point of being surly before I even spoke with her. She does not belong in guest services. The other two I visited with were excellent.

    This property lived up to its expectations of a traditional Hampton Inn and I recommend it.

    The rooms were cleaned, and the beds were comfortable in. The breakfast was fresh.
