    Conveniently located for the event I was attending. Breakfast is ok.

    I don't expect a lot from a Hampton Inn, but I do expect the room not to smell like cigarettes smoke. And I also expect - if my room has a problem that can't be fixed that day - such as a cigarette smoke odor - to be able to switch rooms. This location was not able to deliver either thing. The odor was noticeable as soon as I opened the door. It was only 5pm so I went back to the desk and asked to switch rooms. But the new ability for people to check in and open doors from their phones means that switching rooms has become impossible, at least at Hampton Inn. It was a sold-out night, and even though many people had not yet arrived (so could presumably not show up), every room was assigned in a way that could not be overridden. Since everything in the area was sold out, I turned the fan on high, bought my own odor absorbers, and managed. But it wasn't worth the price I paid.

    Room was spacious and clean.

    Pillows were horrible! Not comfortable at all.
