Lucus the staff in the evening when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with him. Breakfast was OK.
I was quite angry that Hampton/Hilton charged a $75 pet fee. There was no notice of how much it would be when we booked the room. This is an exorbitant price. We usually stay at la Quinta and they either don't have a pet fee or it is $25. We have a very good nonshedding dog and you can't even tell a dog stayed in the room. The staff said the manager was upset by dogs who messed up the rooms. He doesn't want to allow dogs. Go ahead. We will NEVER stay at a Hampton again.
