The first room had dead bugs in the bed and the toilet was clogged. The second room had stains on the covers and the bathroom was dirty

Nice reception staff
We booked thru booking.com. We checked in and went to our room. It was not the type of room that we booked. Called front desk to change. They were completely booked for the evening, thus no room change for us. After desk clerk spoke to her supervisor, we were told they didn't even have that room at that location!?!? A king room?!?! The receptionist made sure to reduce our rate on the room. She was great !!

Great stay, needs better customer service.
Our hotel stay was good for the price and location of our work conference. It was a little hectic checking in due to the browns and guardians game going on on the same day. Rooms were comfortable, clean. It was a little loud each night as we were right downtown. Lots of sirens, motorcycles and cars. Might not be the best. Kid-friendly hotel due to location. Would definitely stay again as we completely enjoy a good Hampton inn.
I think the main thing that made our trip started off on a bad note was the woman who checked us in on Sunday, October 18th around 4:00. She was very rude, unhelpful and just made a bad start to our trip. I also think the breakfast was not up to par for a normal Hampton inn. The omelets were good but the scrambled eggs and sausage were cold and not cooked. This was very surprising for a Hampton inn as most of the time. We have great breakfast options.
