    Won’t be my first choice next time.

    It was in the city where our son lives and it was a brand name with a stated price under $200. Our room was recently remodeled and looked nice and clean. Breakfast had a lot of options.

    There was virtually no parking available due to construction on it. We had a U-haul and were told to park it “on the dirt road” which had no access from the hotel lot. Our A/C was not working and we were told to “unplug it and plug it back in” which still didn’t help. The clerk offered us another room but never got back to us before we got it working. The inside was full of dust and grime. It is also a unit that runs all night long.

    The place was under construction but the hotel was still clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

    What I didn't like is that when the AC in our room would come on, it sounded like there was a storm happening outside.

    I felt the Hampton in Hobbs standards were lacking a bit.

    It was presentable from the outside

    Room wasn’t clean. The closet door wouldn’t close. Mirror on the wall improperly installed. No pool.
