  Disappointing customer service overshadowed my stay, particularly when a simple, reasonable request was met with unneces

  I like the renovations. The bed was comfy

  I’ve stayed at this property several times, and unfortunately, my most recent experience left me quite disappointed. During my first stay, I wasn’t informed that the property uses well water, which has a noticeably salty taste. After drinking quite a bit of it, I experienced some stomach discomfort. I recognize that not everyone may have the same sensitivity, but when I raised the issue with management, they were understanding and kindly offered complimentary bottled water for future stays. I really appreciated that gesture and felt it was a reasonable accommodation. When I checked in most recently, I explained this previous experience to the front desk attendant, Henry, and politely asked whether I could have two bottles of water for drinking. Unfortunately, his demeanor changed noticeably, and I found his response dismissive, rude and unprofessional. It was particularly disappointing because I was simply following the guidance previously provided by another manager. For a property charging the rates it does, regardless of its star rating, I don’t think requesting two bottles of drinking water due to a previous issue should be met with that kind of attitude. It’s a relatively small gesture that can make a significant difference in a guest’s experience. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect basic courtesy and consistency in customer service. I would also strongly encourage the property to be more transparent about its water source so guests can make informed decisions, particularly those who may be sensitive to the taste or mineral content. I’ve returned to this property several times, but this interaction has certainly made me reconsider whether I’ll stay again. It’s unfortunate because this could have been handled with a little kindness and professionalism.
