    Some hotel staff were very rude and the hotel itself was not working properly.

    It was in San Clemente.

    We were there over a week and they only cleaned once. We checked in with our dog but were not given the door tag to indicate to the cleaning staff. I had to ask for towels, wash cloths, and soap a couple of days into the stay. It was then I was told they will not clean our room unless we tell the desk we will be leaving. I told the woman at the desk the next day that we were leaving and would be gone for hours. When we returned our room had still not been cleaned. When I inquired at the desk and asked for more supplies I was rudely told they have many rooms to clean. I witnessed the same hotel worker being rude to another guest when she asked if she could check in early. The tv in the sitting area didn’t work. One morning the hotel was surrounded by cops, K-9 officers and a helicopter. When asked if it was ok to return to our room we were told they were just looking for a hotel guest. The elevator was broken for over two days. All guests had to take the stairs. The fire alarm also went off. Definitely was not worth the cost they charged me!
