  The staff! I ran into an issue and they were able to fix it promptly.

  Floor was wet when we got to room. Was not able to get a new room. We asked to refund that night but to keep reservation for the next night, but they canceled both nights. We could not enjoy the weekend we planned and had to go home.

  Wonderful!

  Location was great in regard to our two attended events. Food was good at breakfast. Staff was the best!!

  The shower leaked at the bottom and needed attention. We were in room 206.

  Hotel Stay Aug 5-Aug 9 2026 Could have been better

  We were visiting relatives in Edwardsville for a few days and selected the Hampton Inn. I've never stayed at a Hampton property before and can honestly say that I will never stay again. 1. The placement of the TV didn't face the the bed! Who does that? And, very basic cable; a Smart TV where we would have had access to streaming would have been great. 2. Coffee Service / Kitchenette. The coffee set up is awful. You need to spring for keurig and actual coffee cups instead of the setup that you have.

  Go elsewhere, dirty facilities with poor service

  Check in was quick and easy, I was recognized as a diamond member. Wifi would not work in the room. It would work at the elevator and in the hallway until you got to our room. A call to the front desk was sorry about that but it is working down here so I cannot help you. Went to take a shower and there were no towels! Had to call front desk to get towels. In the morning i requested fresh towels and was told we will get them to you. Got back in the afternoon from our bike ride and went to shower but the towels were not replaced. Had to go to the front desk to get towels. Again complained about the wifi. Sometime during the evening it was finally fixed. If house keeping is forgetting to put towels in the room after cleaning what other things are they short cutting? Pool area is nasty filthy dirty with people having written their names in the scum line on the tile border in the pool. At checkout I read the 100% satisfied guarantee. That is a joke and a great advertising campaign but it means nothing. I said I deserved 1 of my 2 nights free because of the issues and the clerk said, we are between managers right now and there is no one here to help with those issues. Go elsewhere, this Hampton Inn like many of them is worn out and needs to be torn down and started over fresh.
