    It was OK, but not what I expected or am accustomed to at a HI. .

    I always like the Hampton Inn included breakfast.

    The front desk staff wasn’t that friendly. When we arrived, one person was on the hotel phone, the other typing into the computer. No friendly greeting, no ‘I’ll be with you in a minute’, just let us stand there at the desk awaiting to be acknowledged. The room was clean, but the bathroom shower fixture was in need of maintenance. The control vale was very loose and was not operating smoothly whatsoever. There was a light bulb out over the sink, and the provided hair dryer would not stay in the holder mounted on the wall near the wall mirror and its handle had a questionable sticky substance on it. The towels were clean, but like sand paper and had an extremely strong oder of bleach. I guess I have been spoiled by the other HI’s I’ve stayed at having higher guest standards.
