  Misleading photos, mold, damaged facilities and a very disappointing experience I booked Hanoi Home 10 for an entire month, from September 5 to October 4. Just two hours before my arrival, the host informed me that the original apartment was being renovated and that I would have to stay in an alternative accommodation instead. Unfortunately, the replacement apartment was significantly different from what was shown in the photos. The ceiling was torn open, the flooring and furniture did not match the pictures, there was mold in the apartment, and several bathroom items were damaged or broken, including the shower caddy and lights. What makes this particularly concerning is that, based on my observations, the host used the original photos to advertise the alternative apartment as well. These photos did not accurately represent the actual condition of the accommodation. The host also pressured me to accept the cancellation of my original booking and offered me money in exchange for agreeing to it. Since I could not afford to book another apartment for an entire month at short notice, I had little practical choice but to stay in the moldy apartment for the full four weeks. I strongly recommend that future guests carefully check the actual condition of the apartment and not rely solely on the listing photos. I would not recommend this accommodation based on my experience. The apartment was not as advertised, the condition was unacceptable, and the way the situation was handled left me extremely disappointed. I hope future guests are made aware of these issues before booking.
