    We were returning home after a long trip overseas. The Hanover Inn was the perfect spot to stay before driving home, and I have always wondered what it would be like to stay there. It was delightful!

    It was a bit pricey. However, I know from experience, that all the hotels in the immediate area, including the so-called "budget" hotels, are expensive. In this case, the convenience of its location made it the best option.

    Pet-accommodating, location, and very hospitable staff.

    Pine menu slightly misses the mark; it's so metro that the New England comfort food motif is lost. The lights in the room were on a Master switch that didn't turn them on ... apparently they live free or die as well. The liberal news is well represented on the brand new TVs, but the conservative news is blacked out. A little balance, maybe? The showers are amazingly high pressure and volume (loved it!), but try to turn them on without getting cold water soaking in the process. To emphasize: The staff was amazing.
