  We had a wonderful stay in San Andrés, spending our days at the beach, snorkeling, driving around the island, and visiti

  We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was exactly as described, very clean, well-equipped, and well maintained. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay – they were always responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The reception staff were also very welcoming and helpful. The location was fantastic, exactly where we wanted to stay, just a short walk from the beach. The closest section of the beach was quite crowded, but after our first day we discovered the quieter area near the Juan Valdez Café, which became our favorite spot. Our teenagers also appreciated the location, as it was within easy walking distance of the nightlife. The small grocery store next to the building was very convenient. We bought fresh arepas con huevo and empanadas there, which were perfect for breakfast or to take to the beach. The restaurants across the street were also great when we wanted a simple and quick meal. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the kitchen was clean and well equipped. There was plenty of storage space in both the bedrooms and bathrooms. The washing machine was modern and very useful. The TV worked well, and although the Wi-Fi wasn’t the fastest, it was more than sufficient for light work and everyday use. The swimming pool was nice and large enough for relaxing, with plenty of sun loungers and tables available, making it a pleasant place to unwind after a day of exploring.

  The only thing we really missed was a drying rack for swimsuits and towels. One of the three showers had very low water pressure, but since there were two other bathrooms, it wasn’t a problem for our family. A few umbrellas around the pool would also have been a nice addition to provide more shade. This is not related to the accommodation itself, but as a family with children, we were a little disappointed by how openly marijuana was being smoked in public areas.
