  Spacious, comfortable and cosy house in a great location

  Happy Waves is a gem of a house. We stayed over a very stormy weekend and found the house spacious, comfortable and very cosy - the heating temperature was set to 22 degrees and we had to turn it down to 18 or less a number of times during the day and evening because we were too warm. There were lots of kitchen utensils and supplies provided and the beds were very comfortable. It's a dog friendly house and the garden is enclosed which was important for us when choosing a place to stay for the weekend. The location is great too: the beach is a short walk away and there is a great bar/restaurant just a few minutes away - a really friendly place that serves good food where dogs are welcome. A café close to the beach car park serves great coffee and cakes. We didn't meet our hosts but they were accessible via email and provided a useful information pack prior to our arrival. We really enjoyed our time at Happy Waves and hope to return one day.

  Great location ideal for family holiday

  Clean and tidy with comfortable beds . Plenty of kitchen ware Excellent location .Nice little garden . Hosts responses were quick

  The central heating wasn’t great Came on through the night so made it very hot to sleep but by the evening after a day out and wanting to relax the house got very chilly. There are vents in the bedroom ceilings not sure what they were for but on one occasion through the night the motor kept running on and off making a disturbing noise I appreciate that heating is expensive but would have liked control over it and paid for any considered excessive use

  Perfect base near the beach. Great communication from the owners. As described.

  If I went back out of summer season I’d find out from owners how to work the heating but to be fair I didn’t ask

  Toller Familienaufenthalt in super Lage

  Super Lage und ein geräumiges Haus. Es ist viel Kinderspielzeug vorhanden, was für Familien wirklich toll ist. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und trotzdem ist man mittendrin. Besonders schön ist die Nähe zum Strand! Auch der eigene Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür ist sehr praktisch. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft für einen entspannten Familienurlaub – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

  The best coastal stay the UK has to offer.

  The location was superb as it’s so close to the beach with everything you need just a stones throw away. We were there during the heatwave and it felt like we were staying in any location on the Mediterranean. Such a lovely home with a lot of care and attention put into the design. Would thoroughly recommend.
