    Lovely break away

    The staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. The bed was comfortable and large ( in our room , I know some are smaller) the towels were nice. The evening meal was very good with a nice choice and the waiting staff were helpful . The view is beautiful and the outside area lovely and clean as well as the bar area inside . The bar staff were very friendly.

    The things we didn't like should come up second , not first as it gives the wrong impression. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend but just a few niggles which follows , I think for the price we should have had a cooked breakfast included. The continental was ok but nothing special. Having a couple of other cheeses rather than just cheddar or some smoked salmon , a honey comb rack, boiled eggs , some nice preserves would have been nice. There was some mould around the hot tub that was a bit off putting. And mould around our bath but rest of room clean. We had to ask for more towels as ours were wet as the towel rail in the bathroom was not on. The lovely receptionist kindly put the towel rail on but it should have been on already really .

    Delicious breakfast and its the most comfortable bed I've slept in for years!
