    It is a self contained little flat with everything you need and was spotlessly clean. James the host answered any questions immediately.

    Host seemed a decent enough character but a bit of a disaster really

    When booking the property I expressly agreed an arrival time of 11:30pm to midnight with my host Arrived 11:30pm to find no key locker combination had been provided by email nor via joining instructions Attempted to contact host, by phone and by text - no answer Contacted Booking.com at 11:40pm - on phone for 20 mins Told Booking would "investigate" and contact me again in 45 mins (running from 11:50pm) with alternative accommodation Booking told me to wait outside the property in the meantime - in the dark in the middle of the night - WTF!? Booking did did not contact me at 12:35pm - nor speak to me again Host texted me at 12:43am with code and came out to meet me as I was going in Host then texted to apologise and offer a late checkout Lessons to be learned here (by others) - keylock code should have been provided automatically with booking confirmation, host should have been available in the event of issues - not least given prearranged arrival times, Booking.com failed completely - Booking cannot leave people waiting outside properties in the dark, in the middle of the night for long periods of time. One further suggestion for the host - my view is that there should be a bolt on the inside of the property, ie on the inside of the property to the adjoining door, so guests can lock the property from the inside
