    Don't risk it

    The most beautiful building in Oradea, on the main square. Spacious rooms, two bathrooms.

    After we booked, we got the message informing that there are clubs nearby, and from Thursday to Saturday is gets loud. It is definitely an understatement. We have no problem with noise and sleep well, BUT you will not sleep 100%. The music from the club 10 meters under your windows is overwhelming, and the windows don't isolate. The glass is vibrating! The entrance to the building is open to every one willing to pee, so there are lakes of urine and the smell is horrible. We booked two nights but capitulated and left after the first night. Don't risk Thursday -Sunday stay.

    My worst ever night, although I'm spending ca 100 night/year at hotels/motels.

    The location of the building is ultracentral.

    The apartment is in the top, all day sunshine and has no air conditioning. Even in the dawn were ca. 30 degrees C! Windows can't be opened because the smell of decomposing pigeons and pigeon guano or the noise. This is the worst. The building is above the main pub boulevard of the city, with rave and/or rock music at the highest level. My water bottle fell from the table due to the continuous trepidation caused by the beat.

    if you can let aside the ugly stairway entry into the building....It was an awsome and wanderful stay. the apartment is

    verry cosy and clean. beautiful renovated and furnished apartment with a splendid view in an absolute gourgeous historical artnouveau building.

    there is no elevator and the entrance holway of the staircase is a mess, seriously degradated and smelly, so it is better to keep your breath while passing through.
