    Terrible guest experience would not recommend

    Good location for the train/bus station, large bed, clean room

    We had a number of problems with our stay. I thought the fact it was a shared kitchen was quite hidden in the listing with things such as “studio apartment with kitchen” and “the whole place is yours” being very misleading but maybe I should have checked better/read more reviews. The main problem was with the staff communication. First of all our key was not activated despite informing the owners of when we would arrive which lead to us standing in the rain for 20 minutes while getting it sorted. On the next day I received multiple calls with no voicemail or message left to explain why which was quite worrying. I contacted them to ask why and had no response. We got back to the apartment to find a key to our room with our room number clearly stated on it left in the communal space!!! So anyone could have accessed our room with our valuables in it. This is totally inappropriate and concerning. Only when I reached out again to the owners did I get an explanation. The day after I get more calls and messages asking if I have returned the key, having had no prior communication that I should or where to return it. I am then told to put it in a lock box with no indication where this is. Get told where the lock box is but there is a code needed which I obviously haven’t been given. The whole thing felt like a farce. There were restrictions on when the kitchen facilities could be used to control noise but other guests were noisy throughout the evening and night time as the heavy doors slam and there is little sound insulation in corridors. Lots of noise outside. The bathroom door gets stuck so you are unable to use it unless someone else is in the room to help open it. Absolutely would not recommend this place. For the price there are many better options in the area.
