    Family Birthday Celebrations

    The cottage was warm, comfortable and well equipped. There was a very generous and thoughtful welcome pack, and lots of sauces and oils available, (the bits that you need when cooking but you only need a little of, so its awkward having to carry nearly full items home again if purchased just for a short time away.) Lynne was very welcoming and helpful in her messaging and made up more beds than we were going to use as I couldn't predetermine which beds our young grandson's would want to sleep in until they ( and their parents) had actually seen them and the layout. The children's toys and books were a lovely touch and the zip wire in the garden the hit that I thought it would be! Our weekend plans were affected by illness in the family, but we still enjoyed our stay and we'll be back to try for the weekend we'd originally planned.

    Supremely relaxing and extremely comfortable.

    This is our second visit. The property is very well furnished and equipped, with a real eye for detail. Very generous welcome package. Great location for relaxing views. It makes for a very relaxing and extremely comfortable breaks. Easy to find from the motorway too.

    Fastest 5 days ever! Great place to come and catch up with local family but still get peace and quiet.

    Location, views, facilities, attentive host, lush garden, amazing wildlife on your doorstep. In short this place is awesome.

    Could do with a new mattress in the attic room, it’s very soft which hurts my back
