The staff were the real standout of our stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our first onsen experience.

Wonderful cosy hotel with delicious food and amazing view
Wonderful warm staff. They knew who we were (unlike many hotels) and were so kind. EG bringing us towels to dry our hair when we came in from a wet walk! The food was amazing! The view across the lake was glorious….Its position near the bus down to Nikko and the boat stop was also fantastic.
Better signage as we walked past the hotel! The onsen needs a makeover

Awesome stay and great adventures, thanks to the hotel manager’s sightseeing recommendations
Exceptionally friendly and efficient personnel. Clean and functional facilities. I enjoyed using the hot springs (on the premises) every night, and my skin feels great afterwards. The Japanese toilet with heated seat and multi-functional water sprays was great (even though it was expected). Half board was included into our room price. Every night we had 5-course dinner cooked with local farms’ produce (except for the fish from the ocean).
Tiny things, like only one suitcase stand in the room. There was a sofa bed that we didn’t need, and used it as a luggage stand.
