    We will be back!

    It was isolated , quiet, peaceful, beautiful quality.All the needs of a disabled/elderly wheelchair user was thought.

    Maybe more bedside tables and lights could be useful.

    The lodges have everything you need for a very comfortable stay, with lovely surroundings on the retreat. It was a surprise to see how fabulous the huge ensuite shower was, and the kitchen/lounge area had everything we needed for our group. The views out of the living space and terrace were beautiful in the morning, and the area was very quiet. The visitor centre was an excellent help. Visiting the animals was also a lovely addition.

    A few of the details were a bit confusing - you are sent a welcome pack which claims you need a surname and booking reference in order to get through the gates, but this was not the case. You could also park more than one car on the driveways outside each lodge - told there was only space for one vehicle so we had made different arrangements. A roman blind did not come down past half way in one of the bedrooms - a lovely member of staff did offer to come and look at it, but we declined as we were only staying two nights. Some of the finishes in the other bathrooms do seem to need a bit of love and attention now, but overall it was a lovely experience.
