Overall, despite the cold weather, we fully enjoyed our stay and gladly we ll come back again
Excellent location with beautiful surroundings, the animal farm nearby and all the activities met our expectations. Very nice and very friendly manager, he was waiting for us to hand over the keys and all the instructions despite the fact we exceed the check in time due traffic. Very good communication, quick and clear replies.

A wonderful, relaxing stay.
The cottage, its facilities and its location were absolutely perfect. Set in a wonderfully relaxing and scenic area, it was the ideal place to unwind. There were lovely walks nearby, and the communal lounge was a real bonus — beautifully decorated and furnished, with table football, a pool table, a large table and sofas, a TV and more. The owner also had a ping pong table in the courtyard for guests to enjoy. There is also another communal room which has skittles but we didn't use it. The quality of the furnishings and finish in the cottage was exceptional, and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. There is a cafe/gift shop nearby which is a short walk away and does a great breakfast. We drove into Peebles for shopping, pubs and restaurants which is around a 25‑minute drive, though it feels much shorter thanks to the peaceful scenery and lack of traffic. We also visited Edinburgh for days out, which is a pleasant drive of roughly an hour each way and even drove to St Andrew's for a day which took around 2 and a half hours but is well worth a visit.
