    It was a Wild & Woolly weekend

    The weekend we went was a weekend of extreme weather with constant rain and flooded roads. Detours were necessary but our hosts were helpful and available every step of the way for us and we arrived to a warm and welcoming home. Beds were comfortable, everything we needed available in the kitchen.

    There was nothing to not like, just be aware that it's dirt roads and no street lighting which is exactly what we wanted but due to the weather, this did make it harder to find!

    The location was peaceful, kitchen well stocked, house comfortable, tame donkeys and horses a bonus

    The location and setting was lovely, very peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was comfortable, if dated, taking into account the price when compared with other properties. The commitment of the host to rescuing and rehoming donkeys and horses was a positive and made the cost worthwhile.

    We would have expected shower gel/shower wash in the shower and laundry powder in the laundry. These would be standard provisions for a fully furnished house. The instructions from the host seemed a bit over the top - asking paying guests to sweep floors before leaving (and before the cleaner arrived!) seemed a bit over the top.
