    The property is in a fantastic location close to Three Cliffs Bay and has a number of genuine strengths, including good parking, a secure garden for dogs, a hot tub and excellent entertainment facilities. The house was clean on arrival and, during our stay, the hosts were responsive when issues were raised and were keen to help.

    Unfortunately, the property fell short of the “luxury” and “stunning” descriptions in the listing. During a single week’s stay we encountered an unusually large number of maintenance and equipment issues, including the complete failure of the only fridge freezer, resulting in food having to be thrown away, as well as problems with the coffee machine, outdoor lighting, bathroom lock, damaged furniture and a range of other defects and missing items. Individually, many of these issues were relatively minor, but the cumulative effect was disappointing, particularly given the £2,800 price paid for the week. Whilst some parts of the property have clearly been renovated, it currently feels more like a good holiday let than a luxury one. The biggest disappointment was what happened after our stay. We were asked to provide detailed feedback and were told that food lost following the fridge freezer failure would be reimbursed. Despite providing that information and making several follow-up attempts, we have yet to receive either the agreed reimbursement or a response.

    Lovely house and well situated within walking distance to the beautiful Pobbles and Three Cliffs Bay. House is very well equipped and downstairs living area was lovely. Pool table and hot tub were a bonus. We enjoyed the pub, deli and Pobbles pizza in Southgate.

    Unfortunately our stay was let down by the beds which have very cheap frames and thin uncomfortable mattresses.
