  Not impressed

  The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable.

  The stairs up to the accommodation are very steep, which caused a problem for my Dad, whose mobility isn't very good. The living room is very small and basic and the settee has seen better days. The springs are worn. The kitchen is awful. It needs ripping out and renovating. There are grease drips down the cupboard doors. The cooker hood hasn't got a cover on it, so you can see the motor, again greasy. The hob is missing one knob and has seen better days and the oven is terrible. The fridge needs cleaning and the freezer has bags of stuff in it as well as a load of kitchen roll. I made sure that I cleaned what was going to be touched and used first. The main bathroom and second toilet had hairs in them. The shower and bath are not safe. There was no safety shower mat for the bath, and the temperature of the water was very hard to regulate to the point it became scolding. The force of the water coming out of the shower caused the head to swivel round and flood the bathroom. The worst part was finding other people's clothes and shoes in drawers whilst looking for the hairdryer, and even worse, a tube of flavoured lube, disgusting. There were shower gels and shampoos on the side of the bath. They weren't little travel bottles, they were part used bottles. The whole place needs redecorating. The accommodation is on top of a shop, and this is where I had to collect the key from. The assistant could've been a bit more helpful. He had to make a phone call to find out where I could park the car.

  Great stay!

  Spacious, clean, bright and airy. Right on the prom and very handily above a convenience store. WiFi.

  A minor thing - the couch is so small its like a borrower couch. We couldn't all sit on it but we weren't in there long for it to be an issue.
