The tranquillity, beautiful nature retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. We were provided home made jams, yoghurt, bread, relish and eggs ( which married together splendidly). From the moment you step out of the car, nature's music set the tone, songs sung by the local birds, a vista that leaves you in awe. The cottage absolutely lovely, fully functional kitchen, views for as far as the eyes can see. This was the highlight of our holiday from across the ditch, just what we needed, time to stop and let nature set the tone. There are plenty of hiking tracks, a good hike into the town of Portobello. If you need a rest, a reset, this is the perfect break. Thank you to Peter and Anna for a wonderful memory. Regards Alex and Jody

Einfach traumhaft !
Das bislang schönste Haus, dass wir in Neuseeland und auf der ganzen Südinsel hatten. Wunderbare, ruhige Lage. Wunderschöne Umgebung, Konzert der Tui Vögel. Tolle Gartenanlage mit anschließendem Wanderweg, hervorragend ausgeschildert.
Es gab nichts zu meckern. Die Gastgeber hatten für eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Vertretung gesorgt. Wir hätten sie gerne auch persönlich kennen gelernt.

Superb
Lovely chalet in beautiful quiet surroundings. Pam was very friendly and helpful. Given a tray of delicious home made muesli, bread and preserves, eggs and fruit on arrival. Highly recommended.
