    We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Frans, die uitleg gaf en extra matten aan de drempels legde zodat de rollator gemakkelijk te gebruiken was. Alle kamers komen uit op de tuin. Het geklater van de fontein gaf extra rust. De kamers bleven fris dankzij de airco. Alles was netjes, gezellig en mooi ingericht. Toplocatie, centraal gelegen dichtbij centrum van Diksmuide.

    Niets viel tegen dankzij het mooie weer.

    10 Tage Aufenthalt mit 9 Personen (5 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder)

    Fast alles! Wir waren mit 9 Personen (5 Erwachsene und 4 Kindern) für 10 Nächte bei Frans zu Gast. Zimmer 1 (2 Einzelbetten) und Zimmer 2 (Doppelstockbett) teilen sich ein kleines Bad. Zimmer 3 hat ein kleines, eigenes Bad. Zimmer 4 und 5 mit je 2 Betten teilen sich ein großes Bad. Betten waren sehr bequem. Schöner Innenhof mit Teich zum draußen sitzen. Große Küchen und Wohnbereich durch die man gehen muss, um Zimmer 4 und 5 zu erreichen. Die Küche ist mit (fast) allem was benötigt wird ausgestattet (und bei dem was fehlte, half die Nachbarschaft). Im Wohnbereich stehen 2 kleine Sofas und Sessel zur Verfügung. Mit 9 Personen kann es da schon mal eng werden, wobei wir fast ausschließlich draußen sitzen konnten. Bei Regen kann diese Option eher nicht genutzt werden, aber auch im Küchenbereich hätte es die Möglichkeit gegeben, mit allen 9 Personen zusammen an einem großen Tisch zu sitzen. Viele Spielsachen für Kinder, Brettspiele und ausreichend Infos zur Region sind vorhanden. Jedes Zimmer hat eine Klimaanlage oder ist entweder durch eine Schiebetür zum Innenhof oder durch ein Dachlukenfentster mit frischer Luft versorgt. Sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft, kaum Straßenlärm.

    Es gibt einen weiteren Wohnbereich, den wir kaum genutzt haben, da es dort sehr unangenehm gerochen hat. Dort gibt es ebenfalls eine Wohn- und Küchenbereich mit deutlich kleiner Küche mit 2 Kochplatten und einer Mikrowelle sowie im Wohnbereich Sofas und TV. Außerdem war es nur oberflächlich sauber. Viel Staub auf Lampen, Bildern und Flächen und auch die Bäder waren nur Oberflächlich sauber. Für uns aber dennoch akzeptabel und mit ein wenig Eigeninitiative zu beheben. Da es bei unserem Aufenhalt sehr warm, Sonnig und Windstill war, mussten wir uns die Terasse mit Mücken teilen. Dafür kann de Gastgeber nichts, ist aber sicherlich gut zu wissen. Ließ sich aber mit Mückenspray etc. dennoch draußen aushalten und wir saßen teilweise bis spät in der Nacht dort.

    Wonderful Place to Stay to go and explore

    Great place to stop and great location , we had everything we needed at the property for a wonderful stay, the host Frans and his sister were both extremely friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this place for a large group as you have the whole place to yourself.

    Uitstekend

    Uitstekende locatie. Vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Proper.

    Een klein minpuntje was het geluid van de afzuiging (verwarming) in de slaapkamer.
