    Excellent cosy cottage

    The cottage was very nice and comfortable. Nice touches in all rooms. Every we needed was there. Would go bc again.

    Only disappointment was storage heaters. No heat in the evening. Did get wood for woodburner and this was brilliant and easy to light.

    Quaint + Quirky Cottage in a Great Location

    Smashing location for easy travel to Coniston Water, Quaint and Quirky cottage well equipped with a nice small terraced garden. Slate floor added more character to the property, very quiet despite being fairly close to the one of the main roads. Private parking space was a bonus just off the lane at the rear of the property. Early Xmas decorations was a nice touch.

    Wasn't too happy with the heating system, stoage heaters a bit dated now but the problem we had was hot water. If you take a bath in the morning there is no hot water left for the rest of the day.. Had to boil pans of water to wash the dishes and have a general wash in the evening.
