  The host responded promptly and was friendly. The location was pretty good, right in the city center. And this was all :)

  I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Everything was bad. First of all, the listing says there is covered garage parking. We came to Budapest with a supercar that needed a garage, and we were sent to a paid parking lot instead. Then, the building looks really bad, the whole place feels shady... and the apartment may have looked like the photos a few years ago. Now it was run-down and dirty, with cobwebs in the bathroom. A few hours before we arrived, the host told us the shower wasn't working because some repair work hadn't been finished on time, and that, as compensation, we could have a late check-out at 12:00 =)) Reading other reviews now, I see the shower hasn't worked for months. So they simply don't care. On top of that, there wasn't even a small bottle of water in the fridge, and the coffee machine didn't have even two coffee pods... we found some in the storage closet, but they were a different, larger type of capsule. We visited Budapest in October and it was cold outside (8°C at night). The heating in the apartment wasn't on, and we couldn't turn it on. We messaged the owner, who told us to adjust the thermostat, but there was no thermostat anywhere. We tried to start the boiler, without success. The owner told us to use a portable electric heater. Honestly, this is unacceptable, a complete joke. I do not recommend it at all.

  Perfect blend of old Hungarian charm with modern amenities provided

  The property is located in a 100 year old building with beautiful high ceilings and full of small but very pretty artefacts and modern art paintings . Both the bedroom are very spacious with comfortable beds and sofas. Living room is a vast expansive area again with lot of character with massive double windows providing sound proof yet beautiful views of the street down below. Kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals . Location is great and everything is reachable by foot if you like that or else by short bolt ride. If you like to experience the local Hungarian vibe and stay in a historical building choose it.

  Despite the location and character given the building is old , it has its flaws. Our bathroom started suddenly smelling on our second day of stay due to old sewer lines. Also will ask property managers to mop the floors specially kitchen floors as they were sticky in some places. Otherwise we got a pretty clean apartment as a whole.
